Delta APC blames Okowa for kidnapped monarch’s death
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta has blamed the death of the kidnapped Delta monarch on the poor security consciousness of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.

He blamed Gov Ifeanyi Okowa over the unfortunate incident, saying “the careless attitude of the state governor in the search for the late monarch who was kidnapped” led to the death of the first class monarch.
He said the search team did a poor job and enough public enlightenment and security strategies were not adequately utilized to rescue the Obi of Ubulu Uku from the hands of his abductors.
The party expressed displeasure over the clumsy leadership style of Gov Okowa who for all intent and purposes is the Chief Security Officer of the state.
The party asserted that the CSO of the state, he should display the same capacity and authority of a military troop commander who is saddled with the responsibility of issuing out strategic and decisive instructions to his men with the sole objective of winning a war.
Latimore said that it was very unfortunate that the people of Ubulu Uku and Deltans in general had to mourn a royal father whose reign ought to surpass several more decades to come.
He prayed God to grant the royal palace and the Ubulu Uku people the fortitude to bear the demise of their monarch.
