Ronaldinho dismissive of retirement talk: 'I'm going to play a little bit more'

Ronaldinho is adamant he has no plans to retire and has vowed to sort his future at the end of next month.

Ronaldinho, 35, has been without a club since parting ways with Brazil's Fluminense in September, and told ESPN Deportes in November that he was choosing between continuing his career in MLS and Qatar.

The former Barcelona star took part in Fluminense's recent Florida Cup matches in the United States, which took place between Jan. 10 and 20, but is not under contract with the club.

Asked about his future following Fluminense's 1-0 defeat of Internacional on Wednesday, the two-time Ballon d'Or winner insisted he intends to continue playing.

"I still won't [retire]. I'm going to play a little bit more," Ronaldinho told Sport TV after the match.

"It's good to receive this affection [from the fans], so I'm very happy. I will continue trying to reciprocate the affection they give me in the best possible way.

"There are many things to come in 2016. After Carnaval we will see what I do."
