A whale watching boat has sunk off the coast of British Columbia in Western Canada leaving at least 5 people dead.
Although, sea condition was said to be calm, the boat sank with 27 people on board.
Emergency officers said 21 people have been rescued and one other person was still missing.
The nationalities of the victims are not yet known.
Valerie Wilson, of the vancouver Island Health Authority stated that the victims has been admitted to Tofino General Hospital and 3 of them has since been transferred elsewhere.
The first rescue boat to arrive belonged to the nearby Ahoushat. First Nation Community, Tom Campbell said.
