One Direction member, Liam Payne and girlfriend Sophia Smith split

Liam Payne,One Direction member,22, and his longtime beau Sophia Smith,22, have called it quit in their relation of over two years. They first connected when they were students in Wolverhampton, England, during their early years.

Payne said in an interview with Attitude, 'i didn't actually go out with her at the time(when we were younger) .' i  used to see her at school and we would kind of chat. I asked her sister for her number she was shy, she didn't give much indication that she liked me, so i assumed that she wasn't interested, as well as thinking she was way too hot for me anyway'
