"We refined governance and repositioned leadership under my tenure as governor"
Then the Minority Leader Sen. Akpabio raised a point of order, he said the opposition party will not ask any questions and statement which caused an uproar among members of the Senate before order was restored.
Senate Leader, Ndume said Amaechi as a former governor and speaker could as well simply bow and go but he was declined.
Senator Tayo Alasoadura also questioned Amaechi on issues concerning the Nigerian Governor's forum and Amaechi replied " All we did in the Governor's Forum was to defend the rights of Nigerians".
He was further asked to define corruption Amaechi said " Corruption is difficult to define. if they send a girl to to do something for her and you sleep with her you are corrupt. I have never collected bribe in my life"
He was told to take a bow and leaves as he shakes the Minority Leader.
