Chelsea are prepared to launch a full-scale attempt to land Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane next summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The Premier League champions have joined Manchester United in taking an interest in the Spurs frontman, who sealed the club’s passage into the Europa League knockout stages with the winner against Qarabag on Thursday.
Chelsea scouts will use Sunday’s clash against Spurs at White Hart Lane to add to their dossier on the striker, who they view as a replacement for the misfiring Diego Costa.
Tottenham, however, insist Kane is not for sale – a message rammed home in the summer as they rebuffed Louis van Gaal’s approaches.
