According to Vanguard Newspaper, Kogi state Governor, Captain Wada today declared 3 days of mourning in honor of APC governorship aspirant Late Abubakar Audu who died yesterday after INEC declared the gubernatorial election in the state inconclusive.
Captain Wada described Prince Audu as a great Kogite and a great Nigerian who contributed immensely to the socio-economic and political development of Kogi State. He commiserated with the family of Prince Audu and the entire people of Kogi state. The statement was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Adegbemiro Jegede.
